The Blue Star Croissant Story of 1
Gigih
Long before venturing into his vocation of teaching Leonard
Selva entered the world of croissant preparation in a fast food environment in
the early 90’s. He learned some of the important aspects of food preparation in
a clean and organized enviroment . His interest in croissant started when he
ate croissants at family picnics and social parties.
Nutritious and yummyness
embodied in a single form as a croissant seemed hard for him to forget. He usually prepares
tuna filling croissant for his family
and his colleagues. His family members have been always there to give honest
and unbiased opinion on improving the croissants he makes for them. Back at
school his highly gastronomically active colleagues give him a level playing
field for him to improve further.
Though not completing his dream of opening up a Croissant
Deli (which he plans to do when the time is right ), He fulfills his vocation
of making people happy by doing croissants for them. What more with PFS Carnival 2013,.. In his
mission of ‘Croissanting’ everyone. The Form One Class of 1 GIGIH are given a
hands on experience in running a stall that sells CROISSANTS. Our Class of 1 Gigih went through some
marketing strategies and croissant preparation conducted by our form teacher-Mr
Leonard Selva. We had brainstorming sessions in coming up with execution plan
for the mission. THE BLUE STAR CROISSANT.
Most importantly we kept our operations based on ‘ IN WHAT WAY CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO PFS?’ With this profound
equation/question in our head , we will do our very best to make this Carnival
a success. Join us in this mission.
Do come and enjoy this croissant which is a Tuna Croissant
prepared from scratch albeit the fishing part and bread making part. In
addition 1 Gigih feels a local touch would give the croissant the latch to be
complete. YES! Every purchase of Tuna Croissant comes with a Free Teh Tarik .
Note the Teh Tarik would be extra bubblified for a more serious kick. Now
that’s a good starter to start your day at the PFS Carnival. See you there!
